The second workshop in Szeged 25.02.-26.02.2022.

The second workshop was organized in Szeged (Hungary) on 25th and 26th February 2022. Participants were representatives of secondary agricultural schools from Futog and Sombor, representatives of the association “Good Garden” from Stanisic and Sremska Mitrovica, as well as other relevant representatives in the field of agriculture.

Representatives from Serbia had the opportunity to gain practical experience in growing different types of peppers (such as white pepper Matra F1, Dorothy F1, Fjord F1, etc.) and high quality seeds through a visit to the company DUNA-R DOO from Szentes. The company DUNA-R DOO from Sentes is a company that has been operating for 25 years and is known for exporting its products to fifteen countries around the world.

On the second day of the seminar, which was held at the Faculty of Agriculture of the University of Szeged (Hodmezovasarheli), he spoke more about the cultivation of selected plants such as fenugreek and Indian tobacco (Dr. Viktor Vojnich), and the possibilities and state of production of medicinal plants in Hungary. on growing chamomile and lemongrass (Dr. Petar Jakab).

The study visit to Szentes and Hodmezovasarheli in Hungary is the second of the planned trainings and seminars organized by the Provincial Secretariat for Agriculture, Water Management and Forestry within the AGRINNO 2 project.
